Welcome to our website, "Farm and Fiber". We are a small hobby farm located in Upton, Massachusetts. The farm is in the central part of the state, about one hour away from either Boston or Springfield. We, Lisa and Dave Olinger, run the farm (with our teenage son, when he's available). In 2004 we found our farm (officially named "Hickory Grove Farm") by accident. It was not yet on the market but the realtor we were working with happened to live across the street and knew the owners wished to sell the property. We knew it was meant to be and we have enjoyed the journey ever since.

We have several types of animals including ducks and a rabbit. At the heart of our farm are our Huacaya male alpacas and our Nigerian Dwarf goats. We use the exquisite fiber from our alpacas for handspinning and for a variety of beautiful pieces of clothing. We are also very proud of our intelligent, mischievous, friendly goats for our milk and our breeding program.
